Text Analysis: A Quite Place

 ANALYSIS FOR THE QUIET PLACE

The text was an extract from The Quiet Place the filmmaker wanted to make the characters to not make noises, the intense diegetic sound when the rocket toy falls makes the audience feel startled because there are no other things around it that is making noise, making it more intense when the scene happened, the random shot that happens swiftly as it follows the object falling makes the audience feel shocked. The low camera angle that shows tiptoe walking to avoid noises. The empty streets and stores that no other people were seen also with the effects of the warm tone filters as the clip goes by makes the audience feels a sense of hopelessness and loneliness throughout the movie. The last clip when the kid is approaching the family with the camera in the back a non diegetic background music.

  1. - You need to have an introduction and a paragraph 1.
    - You are not using correct terminology. "With the camera in the back" <What is this?
    - I don't know what your big idea is.
